The Short, Rainy Day!

Today was a short day in first grade. We had an early dismissal. Our word of the day was "that". It was a rule follower. It was popular, so we listed the word family on the "cat of -at". We had so many words on our cat. After our morning routine, we went to recess, lunch, and recess again. Then after lunch, we came back to the classroom. We had centertime. We all finished our second center today. Mrs. Myers opened the art center. We can only visit it after we finish our learning center for the day. Today's job in the art center was to draw our face on a piece of paper and cut it out. We will keep it in our green center folder until tomorrow. Then, we will do the next step in our watermelon art project. We hope to have a great afternoon off!
